About Liamanah
Salam Alaykum, Sis. I'm Zuliat.
Working mum of two · Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator
I'm the mother behind Mommy's Dua Book and the Calm & Cooperation Scripts, and I'm still learning every day alongside you. Here's how a drive to work in 2019 turned into Liamanah.

Where it started
It started on a drive to work
One morning in 2019 I was driving to work tired, overwhelmed and on the brink of tears. My daughter was one. Every time I left her with the nanny or dropped her at daycare, the mum guilt had me in a chokehold. I loved her deeply, and I felt torn between the mother I wanted to be and the responsibilities I had.
Looking back now, I recognise I was experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression. I didn't have the words for it then. I only knew I desperately needed something to hold on to.
That morning, more than anything, I wanted to reconnect with my Creator. I searched YouTube for the 99 Names of Allah and landed on a spoken-word piece by Boona Mohammed. I cried through the entire drive. By the time I pulled into the office car park, I felt lighter.
That morning an idea came to me: I wanted to make dua for my daughter using the 99 Names of Allah. I searched everywhere for a book that could help me do it, and couldn't find one. So I wrote it myself.
That was how Mommy's Dua Book came to be, in May 2019, during Ramadan. It spread from mother to mother through WhatsApp and Facebook groups, to Singapore, Canada, India, Malaysia and far beyond. And something happened that still humbles me: mothers who'd received it for free came back to pay for it, because making dua for their children from a copy they hadn't paid for didn't sit right with them.

Then came the yelling
Knowing better wasn't enough
That same year I started learning Positive Discipline and Islamic parenting, and in 2020 I became a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. Between 2019 and 2023, over 200 mothers learned these methods through Liamanah's courses.
But I'll be honest with you, Sis. I remember sitting on my prayer mat after Isha, running through my day, and getting to the part where I'd screamed at my children to go to bed. My throat went tight. I had promised myself I wouldn't yell anymore.
Even with all my training, the right words can fly straight out of my head in the heat of the moment. So I stopped relying on finding more patience in the moment, and started having my words ready before it arrived. I wrote them down for myself first, tested them on my own two, and they became The Jannah Moms Calm & Cooperation Scripts.
Why now
Why I paused, and why I'm back
In 2023 I paused Liamanah. I had two children under five, and they needed my complete focus.
In the past three years I've lost two close friends. It was a reminder that tomorrow isn't promised, and that the knowledge I've been given is meant to be shared while I still can, as part of striving for Jannah. I'd been making dua about coming back for a long time. In 2026, I decided to stop holding back.
So here I am: a working mum of two, still learning, still testing, and building practical tools for a problem I live with myself.
How I teach
The Liamanah way
Islamic Values shape the parenting philosophy itself. They're not an ayah pasted on top of Western ideas.
01
Raise with Rahmah
Connection over reactive discipline, so your child listens because they trust you.
02
Guide with Tarbiyah
Character over compliance. We're raising the adult, not just managing today's behaviour.
03
Anchor in Allah
Islam as the foundation, never the add-on, and never used as a threat.
04
Tarbiyah for Real Life
Tools that fit a working mother's actual schedule, ready in seconds on your phone.
05
You Don't Have to Choose
Be ambitious and deeply present. Be gentle and firm. Your dreams matter too.
What I am, and what I'm not
Honest, always
I am a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator (since 2020) and a working Muslim mum who has been learning and practising Positive Discipline and Islamic parenting since 2019.
I am careful with sources. Qur'an and hadith references in my guides are cited, and duas are written with care.
I'm not a scholar, so I don't give fiqh rulings. For those, please ask a qualified scholar you trust.
I'm not a doctor or therapist. My guides are educational and spiritual, and never a substitute for professional help.
I'm not the perfect Muslim mother. I'm learning alongside you, and I repair when I get it wrong, just like the scripts teach.

From Liamanah mothers
What mothers told me
More patient, and her children bring her their questions now
“Before I joined the course, I use to think my children like stressing me. But now, my relationship with them has improved, Alhamdullilah: They ask more questions now because they know I will listen and answer them. I have learnt a lot about their behaviours and various emotions and I'm more patient with them now.”

Her daily dua is now part of the school run
“I have been starting to say a longer du`a and the children are repeating after me while we are driving to school. The children are loving it.”

A 10 out of 10
